Exterior Features of the Sol Horizon Rover
The Sol Horizon Rover is higher than the base model with off-road wheels, extra metalwork along its sides and front, and a rear bumper. The main attraction is the big front window that offers a stunning view, and the aluminum chassis. The approximate gross weight of the Horizon Rover is 3,900 lbs, so modern crossovers with 5,000 lbs tow capacity can tow a fully-loaded Rover.
The Rover is usually ordered with an outside kitchen attached to its side, along with a 12V/120V fridge and a griddle top. It’s usually ordered with dual propanes, located beneath the window. The power jack has extra storage for a generator or additional cargo.
On the opposite side of the outdoor kitchen is a storage that runs through the bottom of the trailer. There is also a 6-gallon water heater, fresh water hookups for fresh tank fill and campsite water, plus a solar panel and solar panel array.
Interior Features of the Sol Horizon Rover
The inTech Sol Horizon is different from other trailers because its interior is hand constructed. It has a queen bed in the back with a wall TV that can telescope out to face the 5-seater dinette. Along the top of the walls are soft-closing drawers and cupboards. Behind a secure door is a wet bath that is more spacious than those in other trailers.
RV dealers can also order the Horizon Rover with tank heaters for traveling through snow. Additionally, the Rover comes with surround sound speakers throughout the interior. The interior kitchen has two burners with inlaid stainless steel, making for easy cleaning when the rack is removed.
Finally, next to the burners are a large, farm-style sink with a chef-style faucet. The kitchen window can be slid open, and its bug screen can also be removed to allow the faucet to pour water outside the trailer.
