The 2021 Tigermoth trailer is equipped with new features to make your adventures more comfortable and enjoyable. Its lightweight and rugged design is one of its many perks, with five notable others.
1. Versatile Design
The Tigermoth teardrop trailer is designed to be towable by many 4-cylinder vehicles to distant campsites. It provides 7+ days of off-grid comfort with a built-in electrical system, 12V outlets, LED lights, ambient lighting and red lights to prevent pupil dilation at night, and a 5-gallon NATO can and holder for fresh water.
Its doors and side hatches unfold for ventilation and outstanding views, and it can be equipped with a rooftop tent for 3 additional sleeping spots for a total of 5.
2. Large Side Hatch
The Tigermoth trailer comes with a large side hatch that can unfolded upward for (un)loading and letting in fresh air while providing an unobstructed view of the outdoors. The unfolded hatch also provides shade and shelter from above and has holes to hang lanterns, carabiner clips, towels, and others.
You can also order your Tigermoth trailer with optional screen curtains to protect the interior from insects and blown-in particles.
3. Pull-Out Kitchen
The kitchen is located in a 4-foot pull-out drawer, which functions as a field kitchen with a camp stove. The drawer has a storage grid and compartment that can hold cooking supplies, with one of the storage lids doubling as a cooking counter and the other doubling as a cutting board.
The pull-out drawer also has a locking mechanism so you don’t have to worry about it sliding back in while you’re cooking.
4. Multi-Purpose Space
Both the side hatch and main door can be thrown up to convert the Tigermoth trailer into a porch. The trailer includes a removable cafe/laptop table in front of a couch that can seat two. Above the couch are ambient and red lights, the latter of which doesn’t dilate pupils. Also nearby is an electric fan to keep the air from settling and getting stuffy.
The ceiling room above the couch can be used for hanging items or stretching a bungee net for storage space. There is also 12 cubic feet of storage space underneath the bed. The bed itself is formed by pulling the couch out to unravel the seating cushion and backrest into a sleeping platform that can fit two adults.
5. Exterior Storage
The Tigermoth trailer has a roof cargo deck that can be accessed by a cargo step, and can be equipped with a tongue-mounted toolbox and roof rack. On the back of the trailer is a 5-gallon dispensing can that can hold water or fuel and be accessed through a valve. Additionally, the trailer’s step bumpers are designed with holes for items to be strapped.
